At 10:46 AM, MEL said...: Today while having my quiet time....as I read Isaiah 56 I had written in the margin in my Bible back in 1984 "5/84 - Gods's promise to Paul & Anne" and the verse was that salavation would come. They were not yet believers. Later as I was reading Isaiah 62 I got to thinking about the scribbling in my Bible and said to the LORD, "What if I had given up in 1985 praying for them b/c it seemed soooo futile...and then I realized...that in 5/84 they were not even married yet...they were married 6/29/84." Well in the fall of 1988 they gave their lives to Christ and are precious believers growing in faith still...even 18 years later!! ALWAYS PERSEVERE -- NEVER GIVE UP PRAYING...What if I had given up in 1987!!! I actually prayed for my brother for 10 years. Marye
