Be still and know that I am God

As I was reading the passages of today I one again became reminded of the value and importance of waiting on the Lord. "Be Still and know that I am God" is such a powerful and impactful verse, and it has really been a very significant verse in my life.

I repent of the times in my life where I try to do and plan things out of my own strength and not out of yours, Lord.

My prayer is to have one pure and holy passion, a magnificent obsession, to wait on the Lord in everything that I do and think. Help me to think, to know, to follow and to wait for You with a freedom, like that of eagles and with a patience that trusts in your faithfulness.

Thank You for showing me your faithfulness through my work situation. You alone are God!
