What works for you?

I'm interested . . . what works for you & your family / spouse / household / prayer partner / friend . . . to study the Bible and pray together regularly? Paul & I find it challenging to do this on a daily basis as a couple (we need more discipline & to get to bed earlier :)) . . . but as a family, we've made it a priority and put it on our schedule first thing each morning to worship, study, and pray together. I think it is encouraging and inspiring to hear what works for others . . . let's spur one another on!

Adam and I pray briefly together before sacking out most nights, but we have to schedule prayer dates once every week or two where after the kids go to bed, we spend a few hours in worship and prayer together. Having young children who need their sleep has forced us to slow down significantly in a really good way (not going out nearly as much in the evenings/weekends). These times also spawn really good conversations and planning sessions.
