I saw a picture this morning of a small child clinging to his daddy's leg . . . the father reaches down and picked the child up, lays the child's head on his shoulder, holds him close to his heart. The child is at complete peace and rest now, being held by his father, trusting completely, and looking towards the father, unconcerned about where they're going, calmly assured that wherever it is, they're going there together.
Father, may we cling to You, allow You to hold us close to Your heart, be still in Your peace and rest, and keep our eyes ever towards You. We want to trust You more!
